An investment banking professional with 30 years of transactions experience, closures of over 170 deals for Indian business houses, Multi-national corporations and institutional investors.

Sanjay is academically qualified as a Chartered Accountant with AF Ferguson & Co and Advance Management Program from Kellogg Business School, USA. He is also a fellow member from the RICS, UK (leading global professional body for real estate professionals).

Sanjay’s career in investment banking with specialization in Mergers, Acquisitions, Private Equity and Restructurings; with leading professional firms such as KPMG Corporate Finance (Founding Team Member), Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance and Ambit Corporate Finance (Co- Founder & MD). He has led Founder and Senior Management roles during his investment banking career.

Presently, he is the Founder & Managing Partner at Aurum Equity Partners LLP and Co-Founder & Director at Black Olive Ventures.

Sanjay is an ardent believer in the Indian Entrepreneurial eco-system and is an active angel in his personal capacity as well as a member of Angel Networks.

He is a regular Speaker / Moderator in Conferences in M&A / Alternate Capital and industry sectors forming the bedrock of Indian GDP.
