Why now?
Climate solutions are moving from specialist themes to mainstream investment strategies. Improving economics, evolving business models, new financing structures and growing demand are opening opportunities across energy, infrastructure, mobility, manufacturing, agriculture, water, waste, circularity and resilience.
Yet capital does not move on opportunity alone. Scale depends on credible business models, risk-sharing mechanisms, policy certainty, institutional participation and stronger connections between capital providers and the businesses building solutions.
The Summit creates a focused platform for these conversations, bringing together capital allocators, fund managers, financial institutions, policymakers, development institutions, businesses and innovators to examine how climate opportunities can become investable, scalable and capable of creating long-term value.

From GreenReturns
to Climate Capital
The IVCA Climate Capital Summit carries forward the platform established through the GreenReturns Summit, launched in 2024 as IVCA’s dedicated forum for climate finance and investment. After two editions in New Delhi, the platform enters its next chapter in Mumbai with capital, scale and returns at the centre of the conversation.
IVCA Climate and Sustainability Council
The Summit is convened through the IVCA Climate and Sustainability Council, established in 2022 to deepen climate finance and investment engagement across India’s alternate capital ecosystem. The Council brings together 40+ domestic and international investors across private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, private credit, limited partners, development finance institutions and family offices.
