Private Credit & Special Situations Council
Objective
Position AIF Credit Funds as pivotal for Fixed Income Market Development through strategic communication with regulators and the Ministry of Finance.
Advocate for and raise awareness about the significance of private credit funds, promoting their distinct ecosystem.
Identify regulatory barriers and propose reforms.
Work with regulators to streamline regulations and processes, allowing private credit funds to operate with greater ease when investing across the alternative investment spectrum in India.
Engage proactively to identify and address regulatory impediments hindering global and domestic fund investments in private credit strategies in India. Propose necessary reforms to relevant authorities to facilitate industry growth.
Investor Engagement Plan: Develop an engagement plan to build awareness and create forums for education.
