Simrun Mehta joined KKR in 2012 and is a Managing Director with the Private Equity team in India. She has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Simrun presently leads the consumer, retail, and healthcare services sectors for KKR in India. She has led multiple investments and serves on the boards of Lighthouse Learning (India’s leading education services platform), Vini Cosmetics (India’s #1 deodorant brand), Baby Memorial Hospitals (South India based multi-specialty hospital chain), Meitra Hospitals, Healthcare Global Enterprises (India's #1 oncology services provider), Avendus Capital (India's leading multi-asset merchant bank), Advanta Seeds (global leader in the seeds business), RE Sustainability (India’s leading waste management business), Ness Digital (leading digital engineering business) and Serentica Renewables. Prior to joining KKR, Simrun worked with Nomura (formerly Lehman Brothers). Simrun holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi.
