Rohan Parulekar

Rohan serves as the Senior Vice President at the Indian Venture & Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), where he leads advocacy efforts aimed at fostering policy changes to promote the growth of the alternative capital industry in India. He engages with regulatory bodies such as the Ministry of Finance, Securities and Exchange Board of India, and others to drive initiatives supporting private equity, venture capital and alternative investment funds.

He is a seasoned finance and growth strategy professional with extensive experience in cross-industry deal making and incubating ventures. He holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Oxford, Said Business School.

As the Co-founder of Cerebro Palaestra and Superlative Gaming, Rohan had played a pivotal role in corporate finance and strategic alliances. He successfully raised significant funding from global investors, leading to the scaling of the company’s valuation from inception to USD 4.5 million, and notably, launched PokerNXT, a prominent India-based real money poker platform.

Prior to this, Rohan has a track record in real assets advisory, specializing in structuring high-yielding deals for family offices and institutional investors in India. His career includes strategic advisory roles at Tata Housing- the real lestate arm of Tata Group., where he established the Capital Markets unit and secured substantial equity investments for affordable housing development from Private Equity Funds.

Previously, Rohan held financial services positions at Citi and Royal Bank of Scotland, gaining valuable experience in capital markets and key account management.
