Valuation Guidelines

Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), as an association representing Alternative Investment Funds from India, has officially endorsed the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation (IPEV) guidelines. IVCA's endorsement of the IPEV guidelines is aimed at promoting transparency, consistency, and best practices in the valuation of alternative investments in India.

As you may be aware, the IPEV guidelines are widely accepted as the global standard for private equity and venture capital valuation. These guidelines provide a framework for valuing private companies, private equity, and venture capital investments based on fair value principles. The IPEV guidelines also provide detailed guidance on valuation methodologies, reporting, and disclosure requirements for private equity and venture capital investments.

IVCA's endorsement of the IPEV guidelines reflects our commitment to promoting best practices in the Indian alternative investment industry.
